GH Students Pay Tribute to 9/11

Principal Lori Nimmo along with her students, faculty and staff met in the gymnasium of Glen Head Elementary School to join together to pay tribute to the heroes of 9/11. In attendance were local firefighters, police officers and EMS workers who each have children attending Glen Head.

The ceremony began with a beautiful version of America the Beautiful by teacher Ann DeDona with a number of songs led by the Sunshine Kids (fifth graders) including God Bless the USA. Tributes to the eighth anniversary of September 11, 2001 were commemorated at each of the North Shore Schools.
