Superintendent Dr. Edward Melnick Greets Students on First Day

Superintendent Dr. Edward Melnick warmly greeted students, faculty and staff at all five North Shore Schools on the morning of September 8th, the first day of classes.  The 2009-10 school year began with a great sense of enthusiasm and excitement. The Administration, Board of Education, faculty and staff reaffirm their non-yielding commitment to providing each student enrolled in the North Shore Schools with a deep and meaningful learning experience as we support our students in becoming passionately engaged in a process of continuous improvement and growth.

Please continue to take advantage of all that is offered at North Shore Schools. The Continuing Education Program, athletic events, concerts, plays, art exhibits, community service programs and Board of Education meetings are all open to the public and wonderful opportunities to experience first hand just how special North Shore Schools are. We value the participation and involvement of our residents as well as the continued support for a strong program of public education with the North Shore Community.
