William Shakespeare’s classic play, “Romeo and Juliet”, is a timeless romance about the forbidden love of two teenagers with conflicting families. The students of North Shore Middle School recently performed this tragic romance as an 80’s musical with live music from a band comprised of North Shore High School students.

in an age beleaguered by terrorism and polarized political discourse, Romeo and Juliet is not a cautionary tale as much as a tale of hope. While Shakespeare illustrates the consequences of hate and intolerance, he reminds us that ‘stony limits cannot hold love out’”.
