Principal Marc Ferris and new Assistant Principal Trecia Wong welcomed the incoming Sixth Grade Class of 2010-11 to North Shore Middle School. Students were graciously greeted by the middle school administrators, faculty and staff and participated in an orientation where Principal Ferris communicated the middle school theme of Everyone Matters, Everyone Cares, Everyone Learns! He assured the students that, “North Shore Middle School is a place where everyone feels that they matter, where everyone takes the time to care about the individual needs of others, and where everyone feels safe and inspired to learn.”
During the orientation, the sixth graders took a tour of their classrooms, opened their lockers, participated in fun meet and greet games, and enjoyed a delicious BBQ set up by the MS PTA. In attendance was Superintendent Dr. Edward Melnick. We join them in wishing all of the six graders best of luck!
