SC Blood Drive
Making a difference in so many lives.

Recently, fifth grade students at Sea Cliff Elementary School had the opportunity to participate in The Little Doctor Program, in partnership with the New York Blood Center.  Students met with a representative from the New York Blood Center to discover the importance of blood donations in saving lives.

Fifth grade students worked with Mrs. Krupin, Sea Cliff's enrichment teacher, to plan and organize a blood drive on Friday, March 16th.  Ms. Krupin said, “The Little Doctors Program is an outstanding community service and academic experience for the students and the entire community. By participating, our students make a difference in the lives of so many people.”

As a result of the Sea Cliff Elementary blood drive, the community donated 45 pints of blood that will go on to save up to 135 people’s lives. Many thanks to Mrs. Ledden and the Sea Cliff PCA for their support in making our blood drive a successful event.
