Board of Education, Trustee, Tom Knierim Trustee, was elected to the Board of Education in 2011. Tom is a Senior VP Group Director of a NYC bank. Previously, he spent over 10 years running community development and non-profit organizations after working in the Mayor’s Office in Manhattan. “As a parent for young children in our schools and a taxpayer in the district, I will strive to preserve the excellence of their education while ensuring the district’s financial discipline in these difficult times. I will also try to balance objective measures of success (e.g., test scores) with programs that make school life enriching for our children |
Qualifications/Committees: Serves on Construction Steering Committee, Policy Review Committee, Audit Committee, and Claims Auditor Sub-Committee. Tom has lived in Sea Cliff with his wife for 8 years.
