Showcases Richness of Culture at North Shore MS
On April 8, 2025, the community came together for another memorable Multicultural Night! Members of the Culture Club and other North Shore Middle School students worked diligently to create engaging stations that showcased the richness of their culture.
Culture Club Advisor Ms. Kalberer said, “This year’s featured stations included Indian tattoo art, the origins of the Italian language, teaching of language and fun facts about Pakistan and Bangladesh, Palestinian character writing, the history of Greece, famous people of Sweeden, and painting of famous cultural works of art.”
Guests also enjoyed a variety of traditional foods and drinks, including Irish soda bread, Palestinian hummus and pita, Bangladeshi samosas, Chinese dumplings, boba tea, Italian crostini with prosciutto and melon, and much more. Additionally, the Chamber Orchestra and Liya Liu provided exciting and enjoyable entertainment.
The Culture Club would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Zublionis, Dr. Smyth, the North Shore School District Board of Education, the World Language and ENL Director, Mrs. Aguiar-Mady, the middle school administrators, Dr. O'Hara, and Dr. Mabrouk, for their ongoing support. Special thanks to Mrs. LoBrutto, Ms. Maldonado, and Mrs. Li for their assistance and contributions. We look forward to celebrating our diverse community again next year! Go Vikings Go!
