In October 2025, first graders at Sea Cliff School participated in the Fable Olympics. It was a culmination of four fables that the students had read and studied within the new CKLA program. The fables included:

-The Maid and the Milk Pail - The Goose and the Golden Egg - Peter Rabbit - The Fox and the Grapes

It was a beautiful fall day when the first-grade classes gathered on the front field to participate in the SC Fable Olympics. Students rotated between different stations and experienced some fun relay activities including balancing a milk pail on their head while racing back and forth and a delicate egg relay race involving spoons!

To compete in the SC Fable Olympics, students had to combine their fine motor skills and gross motor abilities with hand-eye coordination, communication, and teamwork! During this educational and fun activity, the first graders were engaged and excited to combine movement and literary skills outside on the Sea Cliff field!
