2026-27 BUDGET The Budget Vote/Election of Trustees is Tues, May 19, HS Gym, 7am-10pm
2026-27 Budget
Last week on Thursday, April 16th, Trustees adopted the 2026-27 Budget totaling $129,396,901.02, representing a 2.994% budget-to-budget increase from last year. The proposed budget:
- Preserves all existing academic and special educational programs
- Maintains class sizes at all levels
- Aligns instructional programs with The North Shore Journey
- Provides academic support to help bridge learning loss
- Provides mental health support for the wellness of students, faculty and staff

Tax Levy
It represents a 2.382% tax levy increase, the amount that is collected in taxes. The maximum NY State allowable tax levy increase for the North Shore Schools is $2,276,131.01 or 2.388%.
It is an uncontested Board of Education election with Dr. Andrea Macari and Mr. Brian Hanley running for the two available seats.
