Bravo! North Shore All-State Musicians
“Excellence in music education is a long-standing tradition at North Shore.”
– Fine & Performing Arts Director, Ms. Dalia Rodriguez
North Shore School District is pleased to announce that two students have been selected as participants for the 2026 NYSSMA All-State Performing Ensemble(s). Congratulations to the following high school musicians including:
1. Anne Kelly, Cello: Junior
2. Kyle Wong, Violin: Junior
Ms. Dalia Rodriguez, Director of North Shore’s Fine & Performing Arts, said, “I have had the privilege of watching Kyle and Anne grow as musicians, and I am incredibly proud that their hard work, commitment to their instruments, and dedication to their artistry have earned them recognition by the New York State School Music Association at the All-State level. Kyle’s invitation to perform and Anne’s selection as an alternate are both significant accomplishments that reflect the high level of musicianship they have achieved. I also want to recognize and thank their teacher, Mr. Domingo, whose guidance and support have played an important role in their continued growth as musicians.”
Being recognized by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) is considered the highest honor a school musician can attain. This achievement reflects not only the dedication of our student musicians and their teachers, but also the collective support of their families, the Board of Education, the Arts Angels at North Shore, and our entire school community. We are grateful for their continued commitment to supporting music education and the growth of our young musicians.
Congratulations to all! Go Viking Musicians!
